T&T’s potential for food production is incredible, yet our food import bill is at an all time high. Our dependency on imports has contributed to a reduction in export levels, resulting in a further drain on our foreign exchange. The challenges of traditional farming weigh heavily on our population. We believe that greenhouse farming can stimulate local food production as it presents an exciting alternative to our young farmers.

At GrowIN, we believe that our facility can exist in harmony with our natural environment. Our operation does not require artificial pesticides, and our carefully managed nutrient dosing system will minimize the impact of fertilizers on groundwater stores. We anticipate the integration of solar energy into our greenhouse by 2025; our goal is to offset 50% of our carbon footprint using solar energy.
